It’s my first time joining up with Peggy Hostetler’s The Simple Woman’s Daybook.
Outside my window…i see bare trees waiting for their green.
I am thinking…too much at 4:30 in the morning.
I am thankful…that God never left me.
In the kitchen…I’m defrosting fish for tonight’s supper.
I am wearing…my uniform, a purple t-shirt and jeans.
I am creating…a big mess while de-cluttering.
I am going…to try painting on fabric soon.
I am wondering…if it will still snow, or if spring will arrive early this year.
We haven’t had an inch of snow in our area this season.
I am reading…several different books at the same time, and not finishing a one.
I am hoping…for lots of sunshine.
I am looking forward to…becoming a grandmother.
I am learning…something new and amazing every day.
Around the house…it’s really quiet.
I am pondering…if my painting project will be successful.
A favorite quote for today…Empty pockets never held anyone back. Only empty heads and empty hearts can do that.
~Norman Vincent Peale
One of my favorite things…to do is taking a road trip and walking up a steep hill to see a castle.
A few plans for the rest of the week:
- Painting some of my old patio furniture.
- Blogging about “no time bread”
- Finding a new eye for the Boss…see below.
A peek into my day…
Have a wonderful week y’all!
