Hi There! Yesterday my niece came over for a surprise visit and spent the day with me. Even though she wasn’t feeling very well we did manage to do something other than watching cartoons and movies…and to my surprise, we were actually pretty industrious. Early in the morning she did some craftiness all by herself while I tackled the ironing basket. We cooked together and took a little break to watch Garfield, while I did some reading here and there.
The weather was pretty blah outside and we were thinking about what we could do next, so I thought it would be nice to craft something for spring, something to get our mind off the rain outside. We wanted to make a paper garland with some flowery images. We got on the computer and started looking around for images to use on our craft project.
My niece helped me all the way … we found some great images from The Graphics Fairy. Can I say, I love The Graphics Fairy, Karen regularly posts beautiful vintage images which are free to use for your personal crafts and graphic needs. Her page is full of inspiration!
We actually had so much fun working on this project together that I thought I’d make a PDF download to share here. Maybe you also need a little springtime craftiness? Well, don’t look any further, here are two PDFs to download, print, cut out and glue back to back on a string of your choice. We used a burlap string.

By the time we were finished, it was already dark outside and taking pics was a challenge at best. But, didn’t the garland turn out cute?
Well it’s Friday friends, ET is downstairs cooking dinner…Fish, pasta, eggplant (yum) and of course wine, I can already smell it and cannot concentrate anymore…so I am wishing you all a wonderful weekend and happy crafting!
