My Sis asked me for this recipe and I thought I’d share it because this cake is really good, take my word for it. As you can see from all the splatters on the picture, I’ve used this recipe a lot (I need to get one of those recipe guards)! It’s German, but maybe I’ll get bored someday and translate it into English, but if you don’t want to wait for that just try it anyway, who knows what exiting new concoction will turn come of it!
There is no baking involved and just about everyone loves it. It’s more of a light summer cake, but of course it also goes great with Thanksgiving dinner! By the way, Happy Thanksgiving to all those living in the United States. Here in Germany, Thanksgiving is more of a religious holiday and is celebrated at the end of summer. That means I had to go to work today … but we still celebrate Thanksgiving on the following weekend whenever we can.
Hope everyone has a lot to be thankful for!
