Second, time to spend at home with family… talking, playing, cooking, walking. Gee, it’s been a while. We’ve had an extremely busy time this past year and I think we are all looking forward to sharing some time together.
Shhh, don’t tell anyone in my family, but I got us the boxed set of all of C. Dicken’s movie classics. Hey I really splurged on that one, but I’m already looking forward to sitting down in the late evening with a cup of hot chocolate and marshmallows and watching Oliver Twist (dieting will have to wait). Actually it’s ok to tell my boys because they don’t get as excited about the things I get excited about! Hubs will take his extra time and plan for next years renovating strategy and our “little” one will try to find dry places to skateboard at. (We need an indoor skateboard park around here)
While our nuclear family will be together, my Mom and Sis along with her family is way way off across the ocean and we will be thinking of them especially this year. Our nephew will be getting radiation treatments around Christmas, so another big dose of faith is in order. Bless thee, my family for I love you all.
Greetings to all my friends who read this also, I don’t know if I’ll get to blogging much the next few days, so if you don’t here from me just know you’re in my thoughts and I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Just in case you’re interested, I put up some new pics on my travelog.
