Looking out my bedroom window this morning, this is what I saw:
The first snow of the year! It’s very early for us to get snow this time of year. It usually doesn’t hit us until after the New Year. I could do without it personally, but it does get you into that Christmas mood at little bit, if other things weren’t concerning us this year. Mom has been to a new doctor and she will be doing all her tests anew. I hope it will help her, that’s all we want after all. My nephew also has an appointment again on Monday, let’s keep praying for him especially but also for the whole family…it’s but for the grace of God I suppose that there hasn’t been insanity. I’m amazed at you all for your strength in all of this, keep it up guys, we are with you all the way!
Hubs is out with Chris to go rent a trailer and buy some used iron beams for our future covered patio. He said he just had to grab them for that price, but wouldn’t you know it, he has to pick them up on the day of the first snow! It’s funny, but every year there is something to be done outside, that just happens to be on the coldest day of the year. It’s almost like a tradition, but we never miss it because it always happens, honestly!
One day, I hope to finally put up the before and after pictures. When that day will be, only the stars may know.
Today we are invited to Josh and Andrea’s. We are living the Jane Austen life and we don’t even realize it. We’ve got a small circle of relatives and friends whom we take turns visiting. It’s a comforting thing, really. If only we had some servants to do all the work…
I hope everyone has a nice and peaceful weekend, let’s fuel up some energy for the week to come!
