Hey Peeps! How is everything? I hope things are going swell for you. I’m keeping with the flow of things as usual, I had LittleJ over on Monday and my Niece here yesterday, so I didn’t get around to spending too much time on the blog. Had a lot of fun with them, I spent the afternoon with my Niece doing some planting (finally got around to that and it was nice having a helper), and LittleJ kept me on my toes, my own personal fitness trainer, and she even gives hugs and kisses!
I’m still in the process of resurrecting some of my lost pictures, but most of them are back. I spent about a week on finding and resurrecting the pictures and I still don’t know quite what happened. I think I messed up somewhere when I selected ‘organize uploads into month and year-based folders’ in WordPress, and deselected it again. That’s all I can think of; if I ever do figure it out, I will let you know and write a post about how not to lose your pictures, lol!
Anyway, I thought I’d share another project I finished a few weeks ago.
This is the Bible book cover I made for my Niece’s Communion gift. It’s the first time I made a book cover and at first I was a bit overwhelmed with the book cover making process. But I found that following a step-by-step tutorial on sewing a book cover by MadeByMarzipan made it pretty simple to follow along.
I really enjoyed making this cover and hope my Niece gets a lot of use out of it. The handles are very practical and serve as the main design element. I’m thinking about making more of these for all my binders I have floating around. So many ideas, so little time!
Take care everyone and have a lovely weekend!
